Scart to Scart



Scart connections comprise of 21 pins. Each pin has a different signal to carry between the 2 scart plugs on either end of the cable.

Most scart plugs are termed 'fully wired' which means all 21 pins are connected.

When all pins are connected the scart lead will allow you to record or playback from any recording and/or playback device which has scart sockets fitted to them.

Fully wired scarts also allow you to take full advantage of better picture
formats such as S-Video and RGB.

Top tip


Make full use of enhanced picture quality between your TV and DVD player
by using RGB.

If both TV and DVD have RGB capability go to the individual setup menus and select the Video output to RGB and see the difference!!!!!
